A free Minecraft command generator for Bedrock and Java Edition. Pick from 92 command templates in eight categories, fill in the options, and copy a finished command for chat or a command block.
Bedrock: in your world’s settings, under Cheats, turn on Activate Cheats (this switches off achievements for that world). Java: turn on Allow Commands when you create the world (it was called Allow Cheats in older versions), or open an existing world to LAN with Allow Commands on. On a server you need operator (op) permission.
Bedrock: /gamerule keepInventory true. Java 1.21.11 and later: /gamerule keep_inventory true. Older Java versions used keepInventory. Change true to false to turn it off.
With cheats on and in Creative mode, run /give @s command_block. On a Java server, command blocks also need enable-command-block=true in server.properties.
Many are similar, but the syntax often differs. Giving 10 XP levels is /xp 10L @s on Bedrock but /experience add @s 10 levels on Java, and some commands exist in only one edition. Set SlashKit’s Edition switch and it writes the right version.
/tp @s 100 64 -200 moves you to x 100, y 64 (height), z -200. Use ~ for relative positions: /tp @s ~ ~10 ~ lifts you 10 blocks.
Bedrock: /locate structure village. Java: /locate structure #minecraft:village. The game replies with coordinates you can teleport to.
/gamemode creative, or survival, adventure or spectator. Add a player name or selector to change someone else’s, for example /gamemode survival @a.
/time set day makes it morning. To stop the clock: on Bedrock, /daylock true; on Java 1.21.11 and later, /gamerule advance_time false (older Java versions used doDaylightCycle).
They’re target selectors: @p is the nearest player, @a all players, @r a random player, @s whoever runs the command, and @e every entity. SlashKit’s selector builder adds filters such as type, distance and name.
~ means relative to where the command runs, so ~ ~1 ~ is one block above. ^ is relative to the direction you’re facing: ^ ^ ^5 is five blocks straight ahead.
Check that cheats are on, that you have operator permission on a server, and that SlashKit’s Edition switch matches your game. Commands can change between versions: Java 1.21.11, for example, renamed every game rule (keepInventory became keep_inventory).
